Love Is All That Matters

I rolled over on my side staring at the pink walls. Oh not again I ran to the bathroom. I wiped my mouth when I finished. I brushed my teeth and my phone rang.
"Hey."
"How are you feeling?"
"Nauseous."
"Morning sickness?"
"Yeah."
"Well I made an appointment at the ObGYN place for us later."
"Okay I gotta go I'm starving."
I went downstairs and mom and dad were already at work. I opened the cabinet and poured myself a bowl of Lucky Charms. I wondered why I haven't noticed sooner well I do wear my uniform 95% of the time and has polyester support. I sighed as I put my bowl in the sink. We both screwed up big time but I'm the one who gets fat and let's face it child birth! I guess I should get a job I cannot tell my parents they will kill me and my baby. Their perfect only child knocked up. Shit!! I can't go to cheer today not unless I want to puke as they hoist me up on top of the pyramid.I sighed can skip one day. I wrapped my hair in a messy bun I was practicing dance
moves and I darted towards the bathroom. Second time today lovely. I got in the shower and put
on something modest so no one won't expect anything. I put a headband in and drove to DX to meet Soda. Him and Steve were goofing off showing each other.
"Do you and Sandy want to go out with me and Evie later?"
Soda looked at me.
"We don't mind."
"You ready?"
I nodded.
"Tell Watson I'm taking the rest of the day off."
"Oky buddy."
He messed up Sodas hair and we left to his car.
"Are you scared?"
I nodded. He kissed my hand assuring me I'm not alone. He parked the car and we went inside. Pregnant ladies were there with their husbands looking happy that they're pregnant. While 2 scared teenagers stuck out like a sore thumb. -.- Soda went up to the front desk.
"Curtis,"
She handed him a clipboard. He handed it to me and I filled it out and he handed it back. Someone poke her head out.
"Sandy?"
We got up and she led us to a room.
"I'm freaking out."
"There's nothing to be afraid of."
"Yeah right."
The doctor came in.
"Don't be afraid."
The doctor sat down and turned the machine on. She pulled up my top and poured that goo stuff on it.
"Alright this might be a little cool to the touch. Don't worry at your ages there's nothing that can go wrong."
I sighed in relief.
"Awesome."
"Speaking of your ages have you given any thought of what you're going to do after the baby's born?"
"Whatever Sandy wants is fine."
"Well if it makes a difference it's a girl."
Soda kissed my hand and stared at the monitor there laid my baby, our baby, our little girl. He wiped tears off his face. She printed out a picture of the baby for us. Soda left the room as I cleaned myself up. I quietly shut the door. Soda smiled at me and we went in his car he dropped me off at my house. I decided to take a walk to clear my head. I cried as I held the sonogram to my chest it's all too overwhelming. 10 weeks 10 freaking weeks along. I saw Evie so I ran away sobbing she caught up to me damn her for being on track.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm pregnant."
I explained everything to her and cried into her chest. Afterwards I got ready for our double date at the drive in. How convent we saw Juno. After the movie I cried in the car.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't want to be like that. Where you don't love me and just stick around because I'm pregnant."
"Sandy I love you and I will never leave your side."
He brushed a piece of hair out of my face and kissed my cheek.
"Our love is so strong we could get through anything including this." Soda said smiling.
